Artists, may participate in the Project SaBaLizards 2001-2006
The goal of the Project SABALIZARDS is to create large-scale outdoor art installation (sculptures, structural works, murals) to the theme of lizards, snakes or any other local reptiles or amphibians. The projected timeframe to the completion of the project in six years. Artists from all over the world are invited to contribute to the design and orchestration of the unique installations, which then become a permanent part of the foundation's Mediterranian Environmental Art Park. This particular program is geared towards skilled artists who will be committed to seeing their individual contribution to competition. Although the artist will be the pimary overseer of their installation, they may be accompanied by local craftsmen, international volunteers, and students. |

We are pleased to receive creative ideas about project SaBaLizards. Projects, designs, drawings, models, materials or other works submitted will be exhibited in MuSaBa and selected for realization on site of sculptures, structural works and large murals. |

Currently in progress the contruction of the first sculpture-structure (project Nik Spatari and Hiske Maas) of a gigantic lizard in beton covered with pebbles and colored ceramics. 23 by 3 by 3.50 mt..Next to the lizard a large scale woman also in beton will be completely coverd by light colored 12 by 3.50 by 1.80 mt.. |
